The Geej's Halloween Costume.

Because I just LOVE clowns AND Tie-dye, this is what my baby girl will be sporting this upcoming Hallow's Eve. Plus, I'm going to have her carry a "John 3:16" sign made out of posterboard to complete the ensemble. We're so going to bank with candy...

So I googled John 3:16...and I don't get it. I know you are smarter AND funnier than me, so can you please splain? What's the verse got to do with the clown?

Oh my dear Karla...you are showing that you a) were not raised Southern Baptist and b) didn't watch a lot of professional football growing up. It's a very random joke: Seems there was ALWAYS some joker in every NFL game's audience that was dressed in a rainbow wig waving around a "John 3:16" placard. He'd always end up on t.v. because he was just so darn wacky. And in this way, he could "witness" and "minister" to millions, and in theory, save the damned souls of many game watchers.

Oh that is so fuckin' funny! My kiddo is going as a witch ("But a pretty witch, Mom."). I am going as the Chupacabra.

Hope you are feeling better these days!

Ah..I get it now. I am, indeed, culturally lacking in this joke, and so don't feel too bad. The only football game i ever watched and enjoyed was the UT game last January.

But now I get it and HAHAHAHAHA!

But I am joining Badger in that CPS call.....
