What the HELL is wrong with me?!

Wait. Don't answer that.

But seriously, I don't think this is normal:
I've been super DUPER tired lately. Like NO energy, completely zombified. No matter how much sleep I do (or don't) get, I feel like I'm on the end of a 3-day cramming-for-finals bender. Not only am I physically exhausted, I'm mentally kaput as well.

Last night, I went to bed (and to sleep) at 9:40. Nine freakin' forty, people. And I slept well (thank you Ambien!!) and right up until my alarm went off at 5:51. But this afternoon, at about 2:30, I got so tired, I actually got nauseous. I had no choice: I went and got in the back seat of my car in the parking lot and slept for about 1/2 hour. I came back upstairs a bit better, but still subpar.

What the fuck is going on here? I am not used to feeling this wrung out ALL the time.

Right now it's 8:20. The baby's asleep, and I'm about to pick up after Hurricane Geej, turn on the dishwasher and get ready for bed. Hopefully, I'll be in dreamland by 9:15. When oh when did I turn into Estelle Getty?

Maybe it's your missing girly-parts? I'm only 24, but I take Lupron injections, which put me into a simulated menopause, and I'm exhausted and cranky and hormonal pretty much all the time. Maybe it's the same for you?
But I don't know how you can rest when you have the Geej to look at, I think I'd probably be completely lost in her baby blues!
Heh. A two year old I can just admire from afar is so attractive. Want mine, too?

um, I know I don't know you and all, so it seems forward to suggest such a thing, but might you be pregnant?

I know you moderate, so feel to dis-allow me, but that's the first thing I thought.

Or maybe you just need a small vacation!

You! If you're getting up at 6am, then you need to be going to sleep at 10 at the latest! Better, 9pm. Which is what your body is telling you. And, Ambien?! It will make you sleepy in the morning, which doesn't help at all. You shouldn't have any trouble going to sleep between 9-10 without any help. 8 hours minimum, I don't care what anybody else says.

The only 3 day benders I remember us going on in college had nothing to do with studying and everything to do with a bunch of cold barley pops and watching "Dance Party USA."

I'm thinking your body is adjusting to missing your ovaries, etc.

AND you are still pretty early in to the mom-lifestyle thing. I mean, almost 2 years old and all, the Geej is still needing you alot.

AND work is kicking your ass.

AND you are in love.

It's all alot to handle.

So go to bed early, why not? And maybe get checked again by the doc, just in case?
