This past Saturday, Geej and I were shopping at a very-crowded Whole Foods. When we were going down the frozen aisle, she asked, "Can we have some poppin' peas?" (That's what she calls edamame, which she loves, by the way.) I told her we already had some at home. She then said, "Can we have some Brussels sprouts?" I told her, again, that we already had some at home. To which she replied, "No we don't! We need Brussels sprouts! We need Brussels sprouts! WE NEED BRUSSELS SPROUTS!" The chanting continued for about 2 minutes. Long enough for several moms to glance enviously my way. That's my girl!!
