They looked so promising as they rolled in from the east.

And gorgeous.
And the wind picked up. And the temperature fell.
But after about 25 big, fat raindrops fell, it was done.

Damnit.

Yep, us too. Clouds, thunder, not a goddamn drop of rain. And friends in our neighborhood got a quarter-inch out of it! NOT FAIR.
