Sometimes they're very direct: "Do not flush feminine hygiene products down the toilet."
Sometimes they're kind of coy: "Please be gentle on our plumbing. It was installed before the invention of disposable feminine hygiene products."
Sometimes they're downright scary: " Do NOT flush ANYTHING besides human waste and toilet paper in this toilet. IT WILL OVERFLOW!!"
And sometimes, they're just amusing:
Overwhelm? Really?
Wow.
(And yes, I had my digital camera in the bathroom. Don't judge. I love the tiny little "Thank you" at the end.)

I've overwhelmed a toilet on occasion, but I don't think we're talking about the same thing.
I always bring my camera in the bathroom. What?
(ok - yes, I really do - but it's connected to my phone. And my phone is in my pocket. And you never never know when there is something really gross that you want to take a picture of because ALL the men you work with don't believe how disgusting the women's bathroom is - so you bring them pictoral evidence and then they throw up.. Really... )
